Anyone who wants a quick burst-speed reading, or a fast way to warm up before a longer test.
Test lengths
Spacebar Clicker has five test lengths: 5s, 10s (the default), 30s, 60s, and 100s. Every length uses the exact same rules — only the clock changes, from a quick burst to a full endurance run.
Play Spacebar ClickerWhy five lengths
Most spacebar clicker pages only offer one fixed length. Spacebar Clicker gives you five: 10 seconds is the standard length most scores are compared on and starts selected so you can jump straight in. Shorter tests measure pure burst speed; longer tests measure how well you can sustain a rhythm as your hand fatigues.
5 seconds — quick burst
A five-second sprint. Short enough to run a dozen times in a row and see your fastest possible burst of presses.
Anyone who wants a quick burst-speed reading, or a fast way to warm up before a longer test.
10 seconds — the default
The standard spacebar clicker test. Ten seconds is long enough to settle into a rhythm and short enough to sprint the whole way. This is what you get with no extra click.
Anyone who wants the test most people mean by "spacebar clicker" — the default length, ready with no extra click.
30 seconds — pace yourself
Half a minute of pressing. Your hand will start to fatigue partway through, so pacing matters more than raw burst speed.
Players who want fatigue to start factoring in, without committing to a full minute.
60 seconds — endurance
A full minute. This test rewards a sustainable rhythm and finger-switching technique over an all-out sprint you cannot hold.
Players testing sustained rhythm and finger-switching technique instead of pure burst speed.
100 seconds — the marathon
Just over a minute and a half of continuous pressing. The longest test on Spacebar Clicker — a genuine stamina challenge.
Players chasing the longest, most demanding endurance test on the site.

CPS only compares fairly within the same length — 6 CPS on a 10-second test is not the same feat as 6 CPS on a 100-second test. See the tips page for technique that works across every length.
